Description
The story takes place in the small and practically isolated village of Hinamizawa. The villagers are still worshipers of the ancient protectorate deity of the people, Oyashiro-sama. In addition, during the last years, during the Festival of the Watanagashi, that takes place the third Sunday of June, always a murder is committed and a disappearance.
And, knowing nothing of this, the young Maebara Keiichi moves with his family to Hinamizawa to begin a new life.
